Buy a new one. Secondhand you are going to get one for a few Rand less than what a new one costs. Plus by then the thing looks like the previous owner gave his Cat Meths and had the poor thing brakedance on the reel.

What line weights does the SL 6 handle? Have an CL 5, ( shows 7/8/9 line weights, colour black, spare spool , backing and two flylines for sale if you're interested. Round about R 2200, negotiable

Call me on 082 2612360, if you're interested. John

Howzit John

Thanks for the offer, the CL series are great reels but I'm looking specifically for the SL6 which can handle my 9 and 10 wt rods.

Thanks,
Mike.

Please note the SL is designed for salt water and the CL for fresh, anodized . Not sure if it is relevant.
