Control line off spools
« on: June 28, 2010, 12:29:27 PM »
Tired of line unravelling off a new spool...?

Try this trick with 1 or 2 Cable ties. Punch a small hole through a large cable tie by heating up a nail and making a hole through the Cable tie. Insert the line through the cable tie and it stops the line unravelling. Tighten up the cable tie as the line gets less...

nice idea there reefers.

i use my girls hair elastic bands, but flip the line twise around the elastic band. with the two turns around it, there is no way of the line slipping from underneath.
