Flat side out will mean more surface area making contact with the Brake ring, therefore more braking power.

Can anybody confirm the part name for the "Anti-Reverse Roller Bearing". (The blue bearing) I am currently ordering parts and cannot find it in the schematics. In addition I also need the retainer clip that goes over the anti-reverse roller bearing.
Thanks
Ken

That's quite interesting... It's obviously a typo that appears in all the Saltist schematics! It's part no 40. (They call it "handle metal"?!?  )

In the Saltist 30H, it's part number 6F552703
In the 50H, it's F552703

Another name for it is a Roller clutch.

Is there a reason this bearing is not included when replacing the bearings with Boca bearings? Is it not necessary to replace this bearing when replacing the other bearings?

The Roller bearings last much longer than the ordinary circular bearings, due to not having to spin like the circular bearings. If the roller bearings are not rusted, they don't need replacing.
