Fishing Sodwana Bay in winter
« on: May 03, 2021, 01:05:27 PM »
Hi guys. I have been invited to go fishing to Sodwana bay in June 2021. Will arrive at Sodwana on 19 June 2021 and will be there for the week until 26 June 2021.

It is my first time to Sodwana. The furthest North I have fished is Cape Vidal.

All the reports and articles I have looked up and read are all based on the warmer summer months and does not help me in any way to prepare for the trip.

My question to you guys is what fish will I encounter during my time there ie: 19 June 2021 until 26 June 2021.

Kind regards

Phish

North Coast species remain pretty constant throughout the year. The water being slightly colder during Winter just makes fishing more difficult, but I have seen plenty fish come out over the years during Winter.

Make sure you stay up to date with what's happening in Sordies... https://www.ultimateangling.co.za/index.php?topic=24187.0
