Interesting indeed, and encouraging for us smaller built anglers who can't winch a big fish in at high speed. I always felt a little guilty for the time it took me to land a fish, seems this was better in the end.

Excellent article. Thanks for sharing. I get so cranky when I see videos of people landing Geets by dragging them over the gunnel and whacking their heads on the deck while hi 5 ing their mates
I can see myself ending up never taking trophy release fish out of the water. Just a pic over the side of the boat will do me fine.
