Raggie on swimbait

Hey Guys
well yesterday afternoon i decided to head off to Umhloit for a good session and to see if i could get myself a nice big grey or zambi on a swimbait...I get there and the water looks really good go to my usual spot on the beach and go straight to work on making my chocka bait...its a grey shark killer in the area! Chocka bait with foam and a glowstick! So get a good shot over the bank and it wasnt to long before i got the bite and trues bob it was what i was after a small grey of about 6kilo's...
I pinned the little guy and let him go...didnt swim out to quick, took its time then once it got over the bank it swam like hell for the deep but i stoped it about 250m out then it turned around and stayed at about 150m for about 10min...then out of nowhere i intially thought it woke up and headed out again but it was to quick and that was when i knew something had picked him up...so i clicked over held tight and i was VAS...at first i thought it was a small grey of about 30kg because there have been a few of then around so i locked my Trini 50 and pulled it to the front in about 2min and to everyones surprise we saw the tail in the shorebreak! took me about 10 min to get on the beach took the measurements, tagged the bugger and then set him free...This fish is only the 2ND Raggie recorded at UMHLOTI according to ORI
tackle used was a Trini 50 and a 365/7+1 Hmg with .55 double X and 1mm Maxima leader
the measurement was 181cm which equals 98.58kg

Irrespective of the outcome and that was both great and surprising, you got something on SWIMBAIT !!
All the time and money I have invested in my gear and it still has not seen the water..
Congrats guy, inspirational I say!
