Hi Guys
I am new here , but have sent some Pm's to Reefman .
I told him about myself , I am self/unemployed , [dont underestimate me i can still PULL fish :fshn: :fshn: ]
We go fishing often , and about 2 years ago , we kept dropping big Toothies , knots popping , stripping reels opening up hooks ect.
My favorite hunting grounds are Struisbaai , and have been fishing there for 15 years and love the place !
I went to visit Family in Australia , and they showed me how to make Windons , only to see a very cool DIY tutorial on UA too .
I now manufacture Windons , properly , sanded down ends , qlued with the right glue in .9mm ,1mm , 1,1mm ,1,2 and 1.3 mm . I can honestly tell you i will never go back to knots on these diameter leaders .
the next problem was Hooks , I got some nice big swr Circles in 13/0 ,14/0 and 15/0 and cheap like the Budgie .
A trip down to the Tackle shops , i found sinkers pricey , R10.00 to R15.00 for a Grapnels , i got some moulds and make them too , also Cones , and Bottles.

Turn out pretty pricey . 150lbs Double X Flouro carbon Was used .
I really too my time in making them absolutly flawless , with nice big loops ,double spilced them for added confidence.

guys just for convience sake , a short list of the Lead and Sizes I do have .
5 to 8 oz Grapnels , 1.6mm wire , and 3.5mm Nylon . these are egg shaps as per the pics .
8 oz Longbooms with 2 mm wire . All grapnels has got clips .
3 to 8 oz bottle sinker .
2 to 8 oz Cones with clips .
Wind - ons from .80 mm to 1.6mm All neatly bagged in a bank bag , I recently made [the pakaging ] it a bit more professional with a colourfull backboard and my contact details on there !
I do make Flouro carbon leaders , best to contact me with requests.
circle hooks , 13/0 to 15/0 biog commercial Circles .

I have been producing and selling , and have been for a few years . more than 3000 with no problems [just in last year ]. I will put, up money you will not snap my slide !
Have a look in the DIY section theres plenty of guys making their own .
I do prefer Silversoldering the Wire and not twisting it ...

I am looking into selling 1000m Spools op T line / and IGFA pretested lines , available for Country wide delivery .

2. Re price Items , as the material price [ lead Gas and Wire ] are always on the up , the latest price increase of 4 rand Per kilo on lead is bad bad .

I have been busy with a few things , and looking into more areas i can branch out into .
One on them is I can get my hands on proper JB Dacron from 40 too 250 lbs , in large spools .
I will be making Leaders , but ASWELL as selling PER METER Dacron , With the current exchange rate , I will not make a large profit at ALL on per mter sales , but are willing to get some if theres guys that:
1. makes their own Leaders .
2. I know Serra moz , and a few other has asked me about thinner diameters , I am for sure going thicker to try to accommodate the Marlin/offshore , guys too , but are there intrest for the local UA clang ?
Current prices I can give as its still a planning and to make sure I am doing the right thing . Were looking at Per meter Maybe R2.50 to R3.75 Per meter ...
I will be running specials on remaining stock / Sinkers wind ons and some Cirles .

That thick wind- on are I think 1.8 mm or 2 mm . The Dacron is 300 kg , and doubled up . The glue might need a touch up , some uv knot sense . Thanks for your loyal support .

6 mm Glow beads , these are the ones you can use for your slide building , they are ideal ! obviously you can also use them for your traces and Spacers for your Squids from a boat . They are pretty cheap too
Thimbles , anti chav what ever you want to call them , see picture . This is for protection on your knots , and slide traces / stopper rings , its also used in rigging of trolling lures . Cheap like the budgie too .
