Title: Maphelane accomodation

can we please discuss accomodation at Maphelane as i see there has not been any discusion yet.
i know that there is log cabins
i do know that there is camp sites, but it seems, that the camp sites don't have any electricity.
if decided to stay at camp sites, which do you guys recommend?
when making bookings, do 1 still phone pietermaritzburg for bookings?

so, lets see whats up at maphelane.

but still your views on either camping and/ or the log cabins is still needed

Post by: Rory mundy on July 17, 2011, 04:57:22 PM: get them to fax you the camp site layout as there are a couple of good sites and the rest are just next to the road. The bogs are rough and run down the water is allways brown and you must not drink the water. otherwise have had many a good time there. they are busy renavating the camp site at vidal and it is looking much better so who knows maby maphelane will also get a coat of paint. out of season you can allmost have the place to yourself during the week. weekends are normally busy
