:hehe: Is it anything like magic shrooms? :hehe:
Forgive me I had to say what came up first.

A few offshore guys I speak to swear by bouyweather. They reckon it is the best of the lot.
I use Windguru mostly for R&S.

I generally go through windfinder, windguru and bouyweather and then once I am completly confused I will go and look at the beach!
but jokes aside if planning some long runs I use all 3 and cross reference.

@Shag I know exactly what you mean! Spend so much time looking for that perfect wind that it blows right past before you have even decided what a good wind is

we put those benches in by the entrance to the beach at vidal a few years back... they are formally known as the " Bank maak bankie " , when its busy especially during December, all the skipper gather there early and decided.... As long as your kit is ready, wake up and if its lekker shoot out, especially at vidal where you dont have to fish far from the point..
