Hi
Anyone have experience with a Garmin 420s, I fited one to my ski, very nice so far.

Nice unit. Just be aware that it can take water through the card-slot. I see you fish on a jet-ski, I'd suggest you seal it, some good quality duct-tape should do the trick.

Thanks bud, I will take note on the water entry today and do the mod.

However you are a hooligan and spend more time in the air so well away from any water in any event...

Hi Slayer
I have a 420S on my ski and it works nice. Never had problems so far. I will also check for water in the slot and by putting a piece of duct tape over is a solution to the problem. I am lost without mine. I have the transducer mounted inside the hull and it works lekker this way except the temperature is that of the engine compartment and not the water. Very easy to install.
Cheers
