Title: KFGA back with a bang!!
Post by: khan on July 05, 2010, 01:42:57 PM

Guys
the KFGA lines are back in stock at the agents and should be available at all qualifying stores.
the new lot has three changes, the .50 is now rated 37lb and 16.8kg, the .55 comes in a 500m spool only at 46lb and rated at 21kg and finally the .58 is also 500m , 52lb and a whopping 23.5kg breaking strain!!

I can tell you guys that the stocks were going out very fast, keep your eyes open for them!!!

"the KFGA lines are back in stock at the agents and should be available at all qualifying stores."

Cheap and nasty stuff that.

Do you know if they have improved on their quality as there were many disappointed guys out there using their stuff?
Personally I think T-line is much better, unfortunately, they don't qualify to be part of the crew.

here we go again!!

Let the guys decide for themselves, from the request that i have been receiving, i doubt that there were more guys complaining than happy with the product.

I dig the KFGA!! I was under the impression it was being replaced by the Suffix, clearly I was misinformed! Whats the pricing like Khan?

Hi Khan

I have been fishing with KFGA .55 yellow for some time. As with all products there is from time to time a sub-par batch that slips through the quality control and lands up on the shelves. Don't think you can fault them on that, but has that been resolved and attended to? What is the SRP on .55 in the 500m range now would you say ?

how accurate does the line mic to the so said diamenter? koz with competition you only allowed fishing with a max of .60 and most of the lines on the market that are said to .57 mic over .60 which in turn disqulify your team

Howzit Stefan
you going too deep here boy!!
But must say the line is thick, but damn strong, i guess its aimed at the shark guys that have kept the heavy tackle business alive.

@angler X
.55 not more than R88.

Khan I see you only mention from .50 upwards. What about the thinner lines i.e 11kg and 13kg.

Thanks Angler. Hier gaan dit baie goed. As to getting old. NAH not yet. I prefer to fish with the lighter lines off the beach as there is less drag in the water and you get more distance when casting. My Trini40 is already spooled with .55 KFGA line and ready for the summer. Still need a decent rod that can handle a 10oz - 12oz sinker. I have never had any problems with KFGA. You dont catch a 58kg duckbill on 11kg line everyday.
