Title: Alcocks Slim spoon vs normal slim spoon
Post by: AD97 on January 18, 2011, 09:44:39 AM
I have read and researched so much about the alcocks slim spoon. Just before I went to Moz recently I bought a "slim" spoon at WA, called a "Black Water"- it is a very slim s bend spoon without the "Bulges" on the ends. It cost me about R30. On the Fish Africa Website the slim spoon by Alcocks is about R50. Is there a difference in these spoons or is it a case of brand names?

P.S. While off Bazaruto I threw my Black Water "slim" spoon into a shoal of bonnies, in about 15 mins I had 3 hook ups and landed 2 Bonnies. On the last one my knot slipped and I lost my spoon and the bonnie. I will upload pics and do a report when I finally get the pics from my mate.
