Eels are often infested in our local reefs at times, always wondered if anyone tried them as bait?? Apparently they are good eating but I'd never 🤣🤣

Hi, when say you eels, I guess you mean Moray eels? I have caught a lot in reefs which is a pain, but I do no not think any fish would want to eat it being it being a predatory eel. Maybe you could fillet it and freeze the white meat without the skin and use it for bait for Shad (Elf) when it is biting non stop, I think they have a lot of bones though. I would not try and eat it as well. If you try let us know, If I try I will post- for bait that is.
