What a way to start your day! I had a few hours to burn so I decide to go down and get a few lures into the water. My 3rd cast i heard a snap and I thought my line snapped? Next thing I saw was that the end piece of my rod was fling as well. Well that was the end of my session. I took a few pics and packed up.
My Penn Regiment II 10" was purchased in December so it was still under warranty. I took it back to where I purchased it and I must say that the Penn warranty and service I got from the store was brilliant. They took a look at the rod and straight away exchanged it. They did say that this is a very rear occurrence as they don't see many Penn rods returned.
Anyway thank you to the store and Penn for honouring the warranty. It is good to know that your warranty still means something.

Nice to know there are people out there who will honour their word. They are few and far between. But in the end, people will read this, and it will be in the back of their minds next time they buy another rod! Well done Penn!!!

AWESOME Stuff and well done to the Shop.
Most retailers will always honor the warranty if you still got all the necessary details, slips & and paperwork
