how do you target them? same as a kob ? my understanding is they feed in different areas? or not

Rather use jerkshad's, bucktails and chiselnose for targeting Garrick. Casting distance is more important than vibration when targeting Garrick. This is for the surf.

Retrieve the lure's faster than what you will do for cob.

Bucktails and poppers are a lot better. If you fish a plastic rather fish a 5inch minnow with a fast retrieve, they seem to prefer the minnow to a paddletail.

Thanks pieta, just the way I understood the kingfisher report was that paddle tails have been doing the business

The pink McCarthy paddle tails have been working at Mazeppa for garrick recently
