Title: Beaded Chains Rig
Post by: Backline on August 06, 2015, 01:25:26 PM: Hi Guys. I just got some new stock in of the Beaded Chain rigs in size 7 & 8/0. For those that do not know them they are doing very well for us and all my clients buying them. Go and have a look at the following YouTube video on the use.

Easy and fast to use. We now using it on Jap-Mack’s as well. Effective for light tack billfish and all game fish.

Never used them but from what I've seen given their flexibility they are very easy to rig and the hook is placed far back in the bait.... which is good for the razor gang that snips the tail... :cout:

If you fish a lot dead bait especially halfbeaks you will know several issues comes up with the rigging. The first and probable the most important issue to get accurate is to pull your bait from the head and not from the hook. Now the beaded chain makes this easy. You can use the chain for several size baits and still tie it so you pull from the head and not the hook. Secondly you can place the hook far back in the bait. I have used them on Halfbeaks, Makerels, Mossies, Mullet and Jap Mack’s.

Post by: lebaka on August 11, 2015, 01:38:48 PM: we got a few from sarel some time back,although have not used them that much (which reminds me ....need to go fish) i did like the ease of rigging them as well as that the hook stands proud and positioned far back on the half beak,thirdly the half beaks action is brilliant as long as you massage its back (loosen the meat of the spine)
