And a barred Spanish Macekerel of 99cm weighing 9kg opened my 2015 account ... :happ: :happ:

Fishing in the Persian Gulf.

Water temp is 20C and air temp was 12C this morning...

Yea last year got one end of Feb.

Then they nailed me in oct...

2015 got off to a great start on the fishing front and hope it only gets better from here on ...

The real King Mackerel is an Atlantic fish...

So a Couta is not a King Mackerel but a Narrow Barred Spanish Mackerel....

Katonkel, Couta, Cuda, Spanish King, King Mack, Serra, Sierra... etc etc

Scomberomorus commerson - Officially known and named by the Heemstra's as 'King Mackerel'. As a footnote in their book: aka 'Narrowbarred Spanish Mackerel'.
