Here is a update on the fishing in Knysna for those who might be coming our way this season.
Garrick have been plentiful, with a few large specimens being landed.
I've had luck mainly on the train bridge and at the white bridge and Leisure Island.
Flipper, gurgler, Clousers and GSM's being the fly of choice, but GSM most successful of the lot.
There have been report of Skippy's coming out but on conventional tackle, but good news non the less.
Then the tail of frustration has also shown its self on many mud prawn banks. Reports of a few Grunters in the 4 kg range have been doing the rounds and I have seen a few of those puppies.
One of my clients got the opportunity to go fishing for grunter on a boat and nailed plenty on a sandbank that is only accessible
by boat.
So if you are in the area, get out there and go land a few.

Thanks for the update, Brian. Good news about the Leeries, my wife finally agreed to give spinning a try so it will be good if I can get her on a fish or two before she looses interest. :hehe:
Please keep the reports coming.
