Title: garmin extrex vista repair

anyone know of a repair centre for Garmin? in kzn would be preferable. I've got a garmin etrex vista and the screen keeps going blank during use, sometimes switches off completely

Go to Garmin itself, in Mountescombe area. they have their own technician.

right! I took my (car) garmin there because it was playing up - they said to junk it and gave me a new one - an upgrade from the previous...for only R300. It was a month out of guarantee......lucky me!!!
