When out the other day the guys were getting mackerel on yozuri's and I took an ultra light set up with an 8g spoon and caught some giant mac's, they took line............ :rck"

Here is a pic with a huge mac next to an already decent size one.

just shows. if one is not picky, even live bait can be fun.  That's why my motto with fishing is always to go as light as possible.

Those Mac's were the size of Bonnies and fought very hard.

you gotta get that down into croc country I tell you.

Get a couple of those big macs and run to Umdloti peace cottage....big one guaranteed

Every time I swim those big ones I almost always pic up a huge Johnny.............. <:

And usually they are 150kg+ and take up a lot of time.....

Freeze em for couta season!

We tend to get the giants this time of the year all over the outer anchorage buoy.

FA... you need to keep a few of those for us R/S anglers... they'd look really good on a slide...
