Hi Barry,
Can you please give us the details of each of these spoons from left to right (Name, Weight, etc)
You help will be appreicated and it would help us when shopping for them.
-
Nat, the 4 on the right are Couta Casting spoons - come in 1 to 3 oz
The Silver one in the middle is a Sea Iron if I'm not mistaken.
The next 2 are Foil bullet spoons and the last one a normal bullet spoon.
Think that's what they are?

Thanks Reefman

I was going to get some Iron Candy spoons for St lucia at the end of the year, which colour and what shape works the best?

Couta Casting spoons in Green glow and Pink glow seem to catch the most fish? Pink foil bullets and Orange too.

Thanks Reefs for the info. Some great fish there, were they caught in Moz?

Nope. These are all local catches as far as I'm aware?!
-
Really!!!! :shk That's brilliant!!! :resp: to the angler.
-
the shape of that couta casting spoon - does it give the spoon a special action or is it mimicking some sort of bait species? seems a pretty unique shape - or not really?
-
It's a versatile spoon. Vertical jigging works too (peterblace got a nice GT on one), although most guys use it as a normal casting spoon.

will be testing them out at mapelane in 10 days time, hopefully have a few pictures like the above

Big silver one in the middle is a sea iron pelacus.
Small silver one on the left is a sea iron super sprat.
