Chuck a sand-wedge and a few balls in that guy, once the bait is out and rod is in the pension pipe you can work on the bunker play - its win win
Nice work

That would never work on the North Coast beaches of KZN. Probably work great at low tide, when the sand is nice and hard. But at high, with the thick soft sand, you're gonna end up throwing it in the sea. A couple of years ago, I think Misguide built a really larney one and took it fishing. There's a pic of it somewhere on the Internet in a mangled wreck inside a bin on the beach! True story.

Wheels are to small and to narrow. I would rather stick to a A-fram and carry the stuff on my back. This is a proper beach wagen.

:rck" :rck" :corrct: ..Here I agree...that is a PROPER beach wagon....The wheels on Sheldons are too narrow, not to be negative,  and they gonna dig in in soft sand , but for what you paid to make it , bargain!!......sometimes you cant always get onto hard sand and then that porridge stuff...JOR!!........Nice wagon Pieta...yours???

what is the facination people have about these trolleys? I dont see any of them on the beaches here in  out of holiday season - methinks its a vaallie fixation - comes form being landlocked. Also, not always necessary to carry everything you own  with you when you go fishing

In the Eastern Cape we normaly fish with life bait. With the beaches close for 4x4 you need to travel a bit. Carrying a life bait bucket on you back for a few kilometers is not nice. You never know where the mullets are, so you have to have them with you.

Hey Norms I do have a hframe this a once of thing for overnight trip, sleeping bag ,food booze, and tackle, not like some blankers who only carry one rod and a spoon.

Field test with double wheels, with safari chiller full of sand it pulls okay and thats a lot of weight, problem seems to be keeping the thing in a straight line ,soon as you pull off center it drags.local hardware store has wheels on order,R130 each ,balloon type inflatable

I have built and used a couple of trolleys . And let me tell you , walking long distances is not cool , the going there is fine , the coming back is not ! You can have the best wheels , these wheelies like
pieta has posted they are nice , but Pricey . Couple of other options too .
