Guys got sort of an idea from youtube but added some of my own stuff to
List of Stuff needed- pvc pipe 50 mm
- T pieces pvc 50 mm
- elbows pvc 50mm
- pvc cement
- wheel x 4
- 25 X 25 mm square tube
- Ply wood 6mm or any wood that laying around should do
- tex screws
- tools
You can make this as big or as small as you want. I have gone for the 16 rod holder which suites me just fine. Found that my tackel boxes and lure bags where all over the place and not to mention the poor rods. now every thing is in one trolley so to speak.
Pic 1 is some of the required stuff
Pic 2 measure the required lengh between the T pieces and glue.... as you can see I use a support pipe just to hold it in place while the glure drys
Pic 3 both side and ends cut and glued
-
Pic 4 once the glue has cured cut the cable ties that hold them together
Pic 5 Now cut to your desired lengh the rod holder thats actually going to hold the rod and they may vary
Pic 6 Asemble the two halfs and ends, glue and then wait about 20 min
-
Pic 7 Now make the handle and glue
Pic 8 Please make sure before the glue has cured the damn thing is square man that mistake
Pic 9 add the handle and let dry for 12 hours
-
Pic 10 now make the base using the 25 X 25 mm square tube and weld together including the wheels
Pic 11 Paint and them add 6 mm ply wood to the steel base
Pic 12 put the pvc pipe on top and fix with tex screws
-
Pic 13 using the tex screw just go through the pipe, ply wood until you reach the square tube making sure not to over tighten
Pic 14 the finished item ( note the the support in the handel corners make it much stronger )
as I said you can make this to the size that fits your needs hope you can use it and let me know what you guys think

Cars :shk Oom Clive you have a :rover: that is not a car.
My main aim with this is not only to organize my rods and tacke but have a trolley just before the trip so I can pick what rods and tackel I need to take on the next adventure and have them all in one ready for the trip.
-
I will definitely copy once I am done with all the trace and lure making. Not a bad idea as my present "store in an open corner" method is absolute chaos.

Great work Mike! Here's the one I made http://www.ultimateangling.co.za/index.php?topic=649.0 (http://www.ultimateangling.co.za/index.php?topic=649.0)
Added a couple of wheels and a piece of cord to pull it around and voila! Drill a few holes underneath and you can wash your rods/reels and let it dry properly!

Pretty cool , Thanks for taking the time to take Pics and Post !
I would just be dril holes in the bottom of the pipe , so after you have rinsed of your tackle and your holder will drain of all the water . :tkx:
