Title: Ponta de Ouro

Hi guys, can anyone help with a few spots for Ponta de Ouro and Malongane ? We are going up one Wednesday as my son is fishing the Racetech Jetski comp. My other two sons and myself will be throwing plugs, spoons and poppers but as this is our first R&S trip up there we will be fishing pretty much blind. Any tips would be appreciated.

Well we are home safe and sound. A very big thanks to a gentleman who is prominent on this site (you know who you are) for his assistance. My son came 9th in the Racetech comp out of 120 odd entries. We fished the beach at Ponta de Ouro and Malangane with plugs, poppers spoons  and even tried Yuzuris but got absolutley nothing. Wonderful weekend in an amazing place, great time with my boys. R&Rs took their toll on the boys, I stuck to beer.

Hi Plugger, my son was there for the weekend and managed a 10.5kg prodigal son off the beach on a whole chokka.

Thats a nice fish well done. We only tried lures. Did he get it at de Ouro or Malangane.
