Man this exciting stuff with some proper fish coming out. Got a mate fishing the provincials fishing the 10kg class, they have only had 1 day on the water which was yesterday, they had 11 runs on 10kg line only got one fish of 56kg onto the boat. Today thety were just past the point when they were callec back in!

thanks for the info Prego  (clap)  like 7/10 said the weather is looking sketchy for the next week especially this weekend.


It give the tuna time to eat more sards :D and get fatter!
finally got that YFT now for the YFT on a jig!

No Change... wind wind wind (SE) all week...SST shows warmer water in the SE of Agulhas which can only bode well for the tuna when the gap in the weather comes, the SE should push it in closer (We hope!!)

It looks like there is a patch of warmer water trapped in the Mosselbaai area. I wonder when the Bonnies are going to arrive.

Yowzer! Would love to hook a YFT. Missed them in Mwangasa. They hooked a couple the weekend before we arrived. Keen to hammer one on a top water bait though. Must be super siza that one  :win:

I have had them down to 14 deg but that unusual, usually they like 18 up... longies dont seem to mind down to 16, I will post temp chart again on thurs so we can see prospects for the weekend... we should hopefully see the result of the SE but the ESE.....beast from the east!!!! is NOT a good wind. SE is better.

The closer the 18C comes in the better the chances of a bus! :D


Are you guys heading out this weekend? we are prepping for the derby and will only get out tuesday next week :S hope the conditions are peachy :fshn:
