Howzit guys

I will be at tugela mouth reason end of this month for the long weekend.
I would appreciate all the advice i can get.
Baits, tackle, species etc.
I do know, zambizis, cob, greys, shad, grunters, pomys etc can be caught here.
im taking 2 set ups.
1x L&F sharky + saltist 50 for in eds (kob, grunter and shad)
1x L&H 12ft + penn grinder 30lbs braid for edibles flatfish or nunus

baits i am planning on taking
choka, redeye,sards, bonnies and mackeral if possible.
where in tugela can i get bait should i run short?
Please advise best places to fish as well, which points

Hi Pierre, yes i have.
Just wanted to see pictures.
I heard thursdays gona be a storm and fridays gona be rain. saturday will clear up.
that prob means the mouths gonna be bad

i will be fishing numbers 1 and 2 most probably.
as well as the actual river if its not bad.
I was hoping some one would have recent pics of the area, so that i could perhaps, see some sort of structure, banks, trough or rip or something if u know what i mean.

I have heard the tree trunk stump is a top spot, is this the same spot you refering to in your picture?

Looks like you gonne need Boots that are made for walking , how far is the mouth from the resort ?

Ps: you might want to consider a fly fishing style buff to cover your mouth while walking. The further you walk your mouth tends to open to allow you to get more air into your system , now this becomes a bug trap of note specially if you are wearing a head lamp. Have seen a very Green looking Bloke

It's about 1km as far as I know. Would also love to fish the estuary off the kayak but you can't leave your car unattended at the parking area at the mouth.
