Good morning south.
Piet and I spent 4 hours in front of the mseni lodge.
I haven,t seen such good looking and actually such a beatifull place in a very long timeM
Of 40 rods, I know of 2 fish, of which I caught one, a little wavy that went back in pices.
9 mile has been postponed to tommorrown 1ant to hit it early.
Will hit the bay ahain for a short session tonight, 3 or 4 hrs or so.
Tough for the beers, the gesture is awesome, next time we try to assist with the logistics.

The piont was not go on holiday and someone sponsors my beer.... What you think i am bloodsucking paracite?

I get told that beer are sponsored so i don't take any, then you get here and sponsers did not deliver, that is my problem Reefman.

No problem i go buy my own beer at R178 a case, no problem.

Dont make promises you cant keep, otherwise JohnF you should have let us know that you had a problem.

Generally this is the reason why dont participate on these forums no more cos people have a keyboard in front of them and think they are the king of world.

A few comments to this surprising comment.

1. Who told you, YOUR beer was sponsored? Me? Definitely NO! I said I would sponsor 4 x six-packs of Moz beer (different brands), as a good luck gift from across the border (suggest you read that thread - see below). In case you have not realized I live in MAPUTO (that's 600 Km from JHB) - also I was counting on a fellow UAer WILLIE to take it across the border. The opportunity did not materialize so far, but will happen in 2 weeks or so!

2. The beer I sponsored WILL definitely NOT cover all the team's needs!!!! So you should be prepared, anyway!!!!

3. Maybe you should spend a bit more time on UA, you'd find that people here are actually polite, grateful and try to help others all the time. Nobody here feels like king... well, not until now... so I think a bit of humility would do you good (+ an apology to Reefman and the rest of UA!)!!!!

to the guys sweating out there and giving a damn about reporting to us behind a keyboard!

Let's do this.
We've travelled far and won't stop now.
After waking up, in about 15 minutes or so, we will pack and hit the road to mile 9. Hopefully today will be that day of all days when every fish fights for our offer.

Hi Guys
Quick report from Team Liberty. First the great news is that Sarel from Team Backline won the comp!!!!! YeHa!!! Well done Sarel it is well deserved. We had a good week with some bad luck but cowboys dont cry. Shaggy will compile a full report with photos so I do not want to say too much. We did caught a saily and black marlin. The saily was the first for Bruce Mckenzie and Tunaman - Reinhard has caught the black marlin which is also his first marlin. Well done boys. Greg can fill in the rest but we had glorious hot weather and the easiest launch I have ever had at Soddies. 15 Strikes for the week shows that we did things right and we were unlucky to not have landed three marlin because of silly tackle failure. Dont trust any tackle bought in packets redo, all then you know your chances of loosing fish is mimimal.
