Never used this but should be fairly good. I.M.O. knots that require the leader mono to be bent back so to speak are not ideally suited to spinning particularly if the guides are small. I have seen a special albright cause chaos due to the tag end of the leader not being clipped small enough and catching the guide as casted. Hence my preference is for the 7 turn uni / fig 8 knot.
Any thoughts?

Same knot as the Yucatan. Just a variation in the leader being wrapped around as well.

I've used this knot extensively in Zanzibar and Kilwa. No worries. Strong and never pulled loose. Easy to tie but use it only for light spinning (Blue Fin, Dorries, Small GT's). For the big ass boys i use the FG knot. Sweeet!
