One more.... very small and very cold. These fish were caught in
Oom Eph's Dam on Easter Friday, Oom Eph's is the butcher in Fouriesburg
The dam is on your right as you drive to Bethlehem from Fouriesburg, plus minus
5km out of town, there is a sign on the gate"FISHING"

In this dam

Last year I fished the middle dam and nailed the bass and
Was so keen to fish this dam,the big dam,I was very disappointed
With this dam but mind you it was much colder this time.

Duncan's place is a little way past Welgelegen, the place advertised
In SA Bass magazine. Also head towards F/burg station then follow the
Welgelegen boards and just a bit further. Summer months these dams
Fish best.

All round this trip did not measure up to my summer visit last year
But much larger fish were caught on average,as I think the bigger fish
Were getting their last bite to eat in preparation for winter.

And here is a pic of my roof console in my Jeep that shows
The direction you traveling and the temperature outside the
Vehicle, just for those who don't know how cold the Eastern Free
State gets. This is on my way to Coenrads dam,Sunday morning.
