Mrs. Simpson is Gareth's better half (like she always says, someone needs to look after him...)

I wonder if Mr. Simpson is aware that WK is calling Mrs. Simpson his better half...

So we had our second League this weekend at Jackie Leonard at the Vaal Dam. Me and my peg-mate was sitting in zone E, peg 3. Fishing started off well and I caught various fish until about 11.00am and then things went quiet...

Changed tactics and soon was getting fish every 45 minutes again. Flavours that came through in the beginning was Pinksweet and later on Vaaldam and Boogeyman.

In total I caught 13 fish with a total of 12.5kg:
-2 x Barbel
-2 x muddies
-1 x grasscarp
-8 x carp

I came first in our zone as the other guys had it tough which we only realised at weigh-in.

Here is a pic of our spot(white cross). The yellow line indicates where the waterline was on the day. the 2 spots below the structure is rock piles left over from old ruins and I lost a few fish and traces in the spot.
