How does friction decrease with temperature?
On rubber, (eg. tyres) molecular structure changes at high temperatures, thereby INCreasing friction/traction; but as far as I'm aware, temperature will have no effect on solid structures, which cannot change molecular structure, eg Metal and Carbon Drag washers.
If anything, temperature will cause slight expansion of the drag washers, thus increasing friction even more?
