depending on how deep you trieng to anchor it might just not work that well.
Walkerskiller, should be fine in that depth, just let out more rope so the angle from boat to anchor is less.
Guys just thought about it now and I probably will not have any time to get to a boat or hardware store before I go down to PE and I am there for a limited amount of time so heres my question...Would I be able to tie the rope directly to the anchor for a couple of days before I get to a hardware store? Would this work and what could go wrong?
With Maxim I used to work with a ratio of 2.5 times line then the depth of water. If that does not hold in 2m of water then the wind is blowing to hard.
Probably not. It probably won't hold. The chain is there to keep the anchor down.If you are anchoring on sand, it won't hold at allIf you are anchoring on rocks, it may get stuckThose anchors really aren't great! Fine for emergency but not general use.
Just saw the depth.. Might be ok!
Cool thanks Bennie , didnt want to get a big anchor because its a really light boat...
That thing would sink my boat quicker than I could load it on
