Choka Hammer
« on: June 13, 2011, 02:54:50 PM »
Spent some time last week making a new choka hammer. Machined it out of stainles steel so should never rust. The handle I made up with SS and then wound some 1,6mm leaderline onto it to get the grip so that it would not slip while useing it. To finish it of I put some heat shrink on so that the line would not come undone.

I like that a lot! Do you want to sell it?

You obviously don't work too hard?

I will see if I can make some more. Have to do it in between work.

@ Bennie that is what I get up to when I have to look after the staff at night.

Fritz, you may be on to something, slightly bigger and heavier then we can use those for self defence up here in Gauteng. But suppose as soon as its discovered we'll need to license them and be denied.

One thing I can say is that you must keep your fingers out of the way. Those teeth are very sharp. And it will never get blunt.
