The winning fish came in late yesterday at 20kg's , unfortunately for a competitor he had a huge crocs taken by the tax man. The fish had been eaten from just behind the gills and it still weighed in at 16.8 kg, that would of been well over 30. We are on the other hand had no luck with the crocs but we christened Sea Quest in stlye.

Hey Paulo.

Great catch bud!
Although no Cuda, I'm sure you are on a high anyway.

Hope you enjoyed your prize as much as Bruce did.

Prego · « **Reply #127 on:** April 25, 2011, 09:22:03 PM »

Thanks guys, best part about catching such a beautiful creature was watching it swim away after a 15minute revival.

Some great catches here... why don't you guys consider, submitting them to the UA Angler of the Month comp? http://www.ultimateangling.co.za/index.php/topic,4675.0.html

I think myself and Big Van will leave it to our skipper Tunaman to do the report. It's fitting seeing he caught that great Kingy

Timothy... Congratualtions buddy, that is an incredible catch - A black marline on a couta trace! We are very proud of you!

@ Prego, nice fish too my buddy! Congrats!

@ Tunaman... Flip that is an incredible catch bud! Was nice to have you guys part of our club for those days! Well done!

As for WitchCraft - We blanked! The closest we came to prizes was I won a lucky draw of about R10k worth of tackle but because I didn't make it, it was given to the next guy.

It's still a great comp!!! See you guys there next year!

Well done to all who got fish, I have been out the country on business for the past 6 weeks and got back last Thursday, took the family to the berg for some relax and makeup time, got a few small trout, its good to be back.

PREGO what a way to christen the boat. Happy for you and very well done with your catch

TIMOTHY what a catch on a Couta trace nogal. Shows you know how to play a proper fish.

You both should have received prizes for your efforts.

Thanks Tunaman, but Jaen is correct a hell of an achievement taking the waters you were fishing on a jig.
