John F's DIY: Mini billfish de-hooker
« on: March 22, 2011, 04:26:46 PM »
With the current billfish fever and getting Micaela ready for the battle, here's a mini de-hooker I made to use on my duck...

Used an old air pump shaft and after a few minutes in the vice using a sledgehammer, the thing is completed....

Sand paper on it, and after a few coats of primer it is ready for the final coat of spray paint...

The total length is 40 cm and the rod is screwed into the handle....

Hey billy, billy, billy
