My sincere apologies for only posting this now.
The hardest part of mounting the motor was the cutting off of the shaft on the brand new motor LOL
I unscrewed the lifting handle on the stern of the Stealth Supalight and screwed on a 5mm
Perspex plate below the handle (no extra holes). This plate has holes to receive the hinge
as in the pic. (Wingnuts)
The whte block to which the hinge is screwed, is polyurethane cast around a pipe clamp on the shaft.
This ensures that the block does not move or come off.
The power cable plugs into the 3-point female plug on the whiite block and connected via a hole
drilled through the hatch cover to the battery. A waterproof switch is also mounted on the hatch
cover.
The yellow cord lifts and lowers the motor.
The pipe clamp visible on the pic secures a 19mm piece of dowel stick and serves as a "thrust rod"
