Great post. Thanks PREGO. Pity about the boat problems. If it weren't for it you would have emptied the ocean.... :hehe: :hehe:

The next & our last day of fishing the wind had died down but the sea was a mess & we were not in the mood for a bumpy, wet & long run we decided to stay closer and fished some of the closer reefs. This did not seem to pay dividends as we only managed a baracuda and all our baits were taken by Remora's.

All in all we were happy with the results we achieved in such short time considering the boat trouble we had & has novices.

We will be back to take revenge on the jigging front.

Happy holidays every one.
Prego out till 2011.

Nice report and great catches Prego... sorry about the problem with the motor... what was it all about?

Thanks John,
The problem was something I have never seen before it kept melting the plastic fittings that run from the crank case to the fuel pump. Then spark would disappear & then come back. We changed coils, stators, fuel pumps etc. What we also came to find is that the premier bulb would run empty so at this point we relised it was a fuel problem. Till this day its still not sorted even has Mercury distributor baffled.
