Have any of you guys had a saily together with 4 dorries ?

I just wonder if the sailies were actually hunting the Dorado or just swimming together, maybe after the same baitball

Did you see Blue Planet? There is some cool footage in there of sailies smashing a bait ball, and all kinds of other gamefish are eating with them. Bit like the sharks and gamesfish feeding together in the sard run I reckon.

FA well done. What is best you actually nominated the sail. Great stuff very happy for you. Reckon your marlin would be on the cards soon.

Nominating a fish always makes the catch sweeter.

Jean I have often had mixed multiple hook ups, especially with Dorado and YFT, the Saily was a first.
In February we got 4 fish on at once, 1 Dolly, 1 YFT, 1 Bonito, 1 Kawakawa.
They were all of similar weight around 5.5Kg
The stongest fighters in order from strongest to weakest
Bonito (Oceanic Bonito)
Kawakawa (Eatern Little Tuna)
Yellowfin Tuna
Dorado

FA I hope you marked the spot and that you are going to check it out again. There could be a submerged FAD in the vacinity.

No Fad, but it is an old spot of mine which has produced many fish before, there is a small ledge followed by a few pinnicals
