Gents...

I would just caution anyone doing a Service on a Coffee Grider/Spinning reel... they are MUCH MUCH more difficult to Service than a Multiplier. So if you haven't got a Multiplier service under your belt yet, I would guard against doing this yourself. There are hundreds more parts to a Spinning reel than a Multiplier and far more complex.

Do this at your own risk, very carefully and systematically.

And for those of you who just want to service the Drag... I've added the Drag service to the tut above.

Gotta admit, i too have had my knickers in a knot when i serviced a spinning reel with eliptiacal Oscillating and Drive gears. I.e: Okuma Salina10000... Frustrating to line them up after the service is an understatement...

Btw, i was offered a 2nd hand Exceler 3500E for R400 odd.... Also with service receipt from last week...
Would you say it's a good deal?

They're reasonable. Not a Shimano, but reasonable.

The drag sounds but its not the loudest. Will have to replace the spring clip.
