Sodwana Launching
« on: October 23, 2020, 07:32:35 AM »
I have just found accommodation in Soddies in December. I have only launched there with my rubber duck that was no problem. This time I will only have one son with me and an bigger boat (ace glider 530 which is sodding heavy). Does anyone know if the tractors from the dive operators etc would be willing to push pole a boat out for a small consideration?

I am not confident of one son holding the boat in that shore break area if we try and drop it off the trailer into the sea and there is usually a strong side wash there anyway?

Thanks for the feedback Rory. In that case we shall have to figure out non tractor launches with the bigger boat. I may see if we can find any willing crew for the time we are there that can help with boat launching duties.

Cheers
Stephen
