Stealth Profisha 525
« on: August 13, 2019, 06:05:46 pm »

Hi all,

Can I please get some feedback from any Kayak Fisherman regarding the Stealth Profisha 525?
I'm new at Kayak fishing so any comments, suggestions or anything would be appreciated as I am looking at purchasing a Stealth and everyone is suggesting the Profisha 525.

Thanks.

Very light boats with good paddle speed.  You and your Gear will get wet so buying top end reels is not a must. Do sea trials to adjust pedals and figure out boat before embarking on that first trip. Where will you be fishing?

i've got one and very happy with it. technically they carry more weight than the 575 but have heard from a pal or two that the 575 seems to be more stable, i cant comment on that because maybe they have become more efficient on a kayak.
if you can, go for the new model (second hand or new), it has a much needed built in live well, its brilliant. no more diy, live buckets, foot pumps, torpedos to house your livies.
for sound info, talk to Brett from stealth, he will guide you and has skis (old and new).

welcome to Ultimate Angling and welcome to kayaking.

btw, 24th august, richards bay is hosting a garrick comp for kayakers, great place to be, either join or feed your eye with candy
