:fshn: Hi Manne, ek is opsoek na advies asb? Ek wil graag weet watter stok sal beter wees vir my? Tand besit ek die Shimano Exage 1468 en wil upgrade na n Shimano Beastmaster Meduim of die Shimano Technium Meduim. Daar is n groot verskil in die prys ook, omtrent so R1000.  :gt:

I fish the beastmaster light HMG for those fish, it was given to me but I LOVE that rod..So medium be fine for sure, the light will even do..difference between that and the technium will be blank and components. The beastmaster is a great blank but I need new eyes after 3 years of use..look at the specs of the components to see the difference, I have seen technium rods that are pricey with k@k components and ones that are pricey with best fuji components so look at the rod model online to see what you are dealing with..

Shame my mate just tried the lighter tip, didn't like the rod and gave it to me..I never fish the light tip LOL..That rod, heavier tip and a 5oz is perfect..Was sliding with it for edibles this week..Didn't blink..caught fish, fought monsters before getting bitten off..That rod and a magged grandwave is a match made in heaven.
