They ridiculous with their prices. In hibberdene they were asking R1000 a crate.
In scottburgh they jacked their asking price up to R1500 a crate.
I'd rater by my sards from the store thanks, Jeez crazy stuff

why buy? surely you can net your own from the beach.There must be a lot that escape/spill out.

Only problem is Mike that t.shops will ask the same per Kg or dozen as they pay the asking price from netters. If more good nettings are made prices comes down drastically to even as low as R400/crate.
But I agree....its ridiculously high.

I remember one year we bought two full Checkers packets of fresh Sards for R40 Supply and demand. Fresh today, mush tomorrow.
Education is important but fishing is importanter !
