we fished the compo this weekend. Saturday's fishing was very tough with the NE pumping.
Plenty of guys caught nothing and were very frustrated. A 14 odd kg cuta won the compo, caught by a junior angler of 10 years. It is a great compo that was well supported, plenty of prizes and always worth entering.
Jet ski division was won by a lady...... sorry bud
The biggest fish that was caught was a prodigal of 26 kg, but that did not qualify for the compo as only tuna. cuta, snoek, dorado and wahoo could be weighed in.
We will try again next year... maybe better luck
