Cape Vidal campsite booking procedure for 2019

This is the latest booking procedure as per Isimangaliso:

Please be advised that as from 1 February 2019, bookings for Cape Vidal camp sites will be done directly with the resort on 0355909012/2. Chalet/Log-cabin bookings will still be done through Central Reservations on 0338451000 or bookings@kznwildlife.com  .  Camping requests for December 2019 holidays will ONLY be accepted from the 1st of February 2019. Requests are to be e-mailed to Camping.CapeVidal@kznwildlife.com , no telephone bookings will be taken. Site allocation will be done on first come first serve basis (according to received e-mail sequence). Requests received before 1 February 2019 will NOT be accepted.

 Sounds like a fairer method.Does that mean if your email is first you get campsite 1 ? Thanks for the info Sardinella.

It's definitely better for the old faithful's that go there year after year.they have designed their whole campsite around a specific site, every last inch is used.having the option to pre book is a good thing I think
