Yeld to seacat 565
« on: July 02, 2018, 01:51:08 PM »
Hi Guys.

I am planning on getting a new Yeld 19Ft CC build, anyone that can share pics on layout and reviews and opinions on that boat, i might look at the FC as well based on info received.
Would love to get info of things that you would do this time around after having yours a while.

Looking to install two new Suzuki 100 on it!

Thanks Guys!

Good choice.  I fish of 21ft regular and they are superb. Why did you choose the 19ft? not much difference between the 19 and 21ft.  A friend of mine as got the 19ft with 90hp suzukis and its a perfect combo. Would stick with the 90. haven't been on a cc so cant comment on it.

Hi Frikster,

I have a 21ft Yeld FC, its 18 Months Old. Im extremely Happy with my Yeld and I can only speak very very highly of whole experience dealing with Shaun. These guys have grown up around these boats and know the story, each and every item is well thought out and purpose built. A Yeld Cat is not the most fancy boat around, BUT it is extremely well Built, well finished,  gives u a really good ride, and has very decent re-sale value.

If I was you, I would just go with a 21ft, there is no saving in money on the Hull and if you are not travelling long distance, a single axle trailer is fine for a 21ft as well. Engine wise, a 21 will run just fine with 100Hp's if you want to save a few bucks here. I went for the FC as I prefer having the Extra Shade and seating area. I have 2 Bum boxes up front and the center hatch. Had I known what I do know, I wouldnt have the center hatch as it takes up space and you fight a fish better when standing up. Weight wise, the 19-21 is pretty much the same and it will make no difference to your towing, the trailers are top quality and tow beautifully.

If you got any more questions, drop me a PM and I will send my number so u can drop me a line.

Cheers Charles

I thought the 19ft Yeld had been discontinued.....

Have only seen the 17ft and 21ft units coming out of the Yeld factory of late??

I enquired previously about a the possibility of a new 19ft build with Shaun but never got a reply.

Good Luck with the build, great choice in Ski-boat!

they still do the 19ft but like others have said it is just a shortened 21ft.
The cost of the 21 and 19 is pretty much identical so i personally would just go for the 21ft.

21 cc is an awesome boat, and you can get them to put the FC t-top on it so you still get plenty shade.
Yelds are the best made boats on the market, you wont find one with better quality finishes!

There is not a huge difference between towing a 19 and a 21, but there is a big difference on the water which makes it worth it.
Whether you go for a 19 or a 21 I highly recommend a double axle trailer.

Fantastic boat, if you have the space go for the 21ft as Mike says big difference on the water fishing wise.
A bad days fishing is better than sitting at home moping.

when I die, may my wife not sell my fishing tackle for what I told her I paid for it... and I have bought more, a severe case of TA

Frikster, there is no difference towing a 21 or 19....all they do is take the 21ft out the Mould and cut 600mm off. You wont save a cent on the hull. Where there is a big difference is on the water.

Chaps not to be funny or sound silly, but emails to Monzi dont work....😂😂 If you serious, get in your Cab and take a drive, and I tell you what is the best way, just arrive unannounced. Shaun will take you and show you all around and you will see various boats in different stages of completion. They are very busy at the moment with a whole lot of orders for the 22 and there is a bunch of 17's getting built. They only 3 Brothers doing pretty much all the work!! I was there Yesterday and to just arrive is best. Also meeting them face to face is a good way to start and then you can get first hand information of how long you going to wait. It isnt that long at the moment and trust me, its worth the wait.
