Henry there is a very small cave on top of Maphuzi cliffs. Not very spectacular at all, and probably not worth the effort of getting to. This is a very dangerous spot and certainly not recommended for the family. It involves shuffling along a really scary narrow ledge for 5m across a vicious sea way down below. Fishing from Maphuzi is primarily for Sharks and Rays, very difficult to land anything there.

Don't recognize that at all Henry. Definitely not on top of Maphuzi cliffs. It might be the other side of the bay at Maphuzi, near the river?

Google earth has a place marker called "picture from the cave" - but the photo is missing, at that exact location, so I think that is it. Took my kids there when they were just toddlers, so was definitely family friendly.

From Coffee Bay to Mthata Mouth there are plenty of caves (see from Sea). I have never been to any of them and not sure how many are accessible. There are other caves that were used my Mkonto Lesizwe etc and I am sure the Hotels In CB will know of them and there will be guides who can take you.

Near Mthata Mouth on the CB (South side) there are also some deep pools where you can go rockjumping etc, but also never gone.

YES! Crankman spot on. Left of Ocean view hotel, there are some impressive and spectacular caves just around the corner. Go at low tide. The high tide washes into them.
