Reel Seat Broken
« on: January 19, 2017, 10:55:34 am »
Possibly not the correct forum but I have a D.A.M. Effzett spin with a broken reel seat.

Is it possible to repair or will the rod have to be chucked?

not familiar with the rod in question and its costs. best thing to do is to return it to the takle shop you purchased it or any other tackle shop (even for a second quote/opinion) and let them give you a quote for the repair job, consider the repair costs to a new one and decide the way forward.
on the other hand, strip it and pimp it with new spares, good fun.

Bring it with to the social. Fishatic will be there... he's one of the best Rodbuilders in GP. He should be able to help you no problem.

He fixed up some damn nice drop shot rods for me, pretty sure he could lower himself to helping out with a bass rod
