Weather permitting (Some rain in the air) Going to hit up a night sesh for some Kob with good old AD97 (Steven Victor)...

If it doesnt pour I will be happy fishing in light rain or drizzle. Need to get some bigger fish.

If worst comes to worst, on the last day or 2 I will just catch like 100 micros lol.

Will report back  :-)

Last night blanked, this morning blanked.

Maybe I am fishing to heavy?

Any input here guys should I scale down to smaller hooks or should I persevere with what I am doing (Fishing 2/0's and upwards)...

Also should I maybe fish more fly and artificial... Any input would be awesome, I am getting very frustrated.

Dude... when you start refering to 2/0 as heavy then you either need to take a deeeep breath or have a large beer.
Go bliksem some little guys and stick one of them karenteen out as a sidebet while you have some fun with the light stuff.

You are not alone. My son and I went looking for some Leeries at Leisure Ilse but blanked. He only recently started showing some interest in fishing and I dearly want him to catch a fish. Tomorrow we are going to hit the gulley armed with some lamb liver scraps. At least it should get us some action from the Blactails and Mullet.

:hehe: It's common knowledge in the S.C. too, ecspecially over December holidays... :shk unless you can find a secluded spot where nobody else can fish...perhaps too much bait in the water and too many boats and jet-skis.. :dunno: w;k

Have to agree with lofty. Hit the bricks. Look for loads of foam not to far out with a crakker bait. They love strong water. Desember are the windy months for the coast. If you want to fish it's beter from March right through to early november. Bigger cobs usrly around in the eastern cape from august to middel October.
