Hi Hennie, thanks for the feedback...

As John F said, they all fall under the same genetics of Cyprinus carpio.

As for the Ghost Carp, my apologies. I thought it was, as I have seen a few of these "white" carp with scales and and light orange tails, and from a young age I was always told that they were Ghost carp.

I believe the picture below is a Ghost Carp (Taken from http://fliesonly.blogspot.co.za/2011/03/introduction-into-uk-carp-fishing.html)

Would I be correct here Hennie?

My mistake, I thought leathers were a different species altogether. Also spoke to Craig Neill and he confirmed same species.


Looking at the color of that specific carps head/face I would say Ghost.
